When we have submitted to Jesus in repentance, He promises to give us His Holy Spirit so we can be witnesses, as we overcome, to the world around us leading them to Him. Again, it is not in our power, but instead in the power of Jesus in His victory over sin and death that we can walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8
